Penn Cox, Managing Director
|
Mr. Cox has over ten years experience in energy project development, finance and mergers and acquisitions.
He began his career with Duke Energy in domestic energy project development and moved to Latin American development and M&A, eventually leading all of Duke’s efforts in the Southern Cone of Latin America. He served in Duke’s Business Unit finance group where he was responsible for arranging financing for Duke’s energy investments throughout the world and was responsible for Treasury oversight of Duke Energy North America and Duke Capital Partners.
He served as a Managing Director for the AEP Resources Latin America Group where he lead all development and M&A efforts in Latin America. He also served as a Director of Origination for Merchant Energy Group of the Americas, a start-up energy development and trading firm that was sold to TransAlta Energy. Prior to Rollcast Energy, Mr. Cox was an independent consultant to private equity firms investing in the energy sector. He provided financial analysis, due diligence and project finance advice for their transactions.
Mr. Cox earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A., with Distinction, from Wake Forest University.
