Phil Smith, Managing Director
|
Mr. Smith has over twenty years experience in energy sector asset management, development and finance. He joined Rollcast from Duke Energy where he was most recently responsible for all finance activities for Duke Energy’s Gas Transmission business segment. In this role he was responsible for financial due diligence for acquisition and divestitures of gas transmission assets and led over $1 billion of project financings during the last two years. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Duke Capital Partners, Duke Energy’s merchant banking subsidiary, where he was responsible for all accounting, finance, planning and IT functions as well as the management of restructuring and exit of the subsidiary’s investments. Prior to this, he was responsible for all Latin American asset management and also served as the controller of Duke Energy Global Asset Development.
Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a Certified Public Accountant.
